What experience do I need to own a realty franchise with The Oceanaire Realty?
Calling all real estate leaders and influencers! We seek top producing real estate agents who currently work with a broker, but who are ready to own their own business. We are looking for real estate professionals who enjoy working with people and leading a team. Our franchise owners are financially qualified leaders who are excited by the real estate industry and have an excellent network of colleagues, clients, and supporting vendors.
What is provided as part of The Oceanaire Realty franchise program?
At The Oceanaire Realty, we are excited to show you the exact steps we take when operating a realty franchise. We offer initial and ongoing training and will start with a week of training in North Carolina for you and your Office Manager, before the opening of your office. Next, members of our team will join you at your location for two days to help you and your staff open your doors with confidence. In addition, you will have access to our exclusive confidential operations manual to help operate your realty franchise properly on a day-to-day basis.
How much will The Oceanaire Realty franchise program cost me?
The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $81,700 to $144,850 per location. This includes a $25,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund your initial business growth stages.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
We charge a royalty rate equal to 5.5% of gross commissions, paid weekly, with minimum flat fees also in place based on time in business. Royalties allow us to fund our ongoing support services, training, and the continued development of programs, training programs, and systems upgrades to guide you when you own a realty franchise with The Oceanaire Realty. Are there any advertising fees?
The Oceanaire Realty franchise owners are required to spend a minimum of $500 per agent, per month, on local marketing. Franchise owners will also contribute 1.5% of gross commissions into the system marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies and materials designed to help promote The Oceanaire Realty brand.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with one subsequent successor agreement option of five years.
